Description
Derby Golf Club Slušovice's golf course is located within the horse racing area. It is a nine-hole flat course consisting of one par-5 hole, two par-4 holes, and six par-3 holes. Despite its apparent simplicity, the course is made challenging by the presence of horse racing obstacles, and water hazards on five holes. Especially the par-3 holes, except for the first hole, are around 160 meters long and feature relatively small greens, making them a test for players with a strong short game. The flat terrain makes Slušovice's course an ideal place for beginners to take their first golfing steps. The environment is enhanced by views of the Hostýn Mountains to the north and the Vizovice Hills to the south.
It is a public course open to all players – beginners without handicaps and players with handicaps. The entry requirement is a knowledge of golf etiquette and the operational rules of DGCS.
Due to the nature of the course, there is no driving range included. For practicing short game skills, there is a practice green located between holes number 1 and 7.
Green fees can be paid before the game at Autos (near the parking lot), at the SUD restaurant, through online banking transfer (see info here), or directly at the course with the marshal, who will issue a payment confirmation.
