Description
The Most Golf Course, operated by the I. Golf Club Most, has a nearly thirty-year tradition. The I. Golf Club Most was established in 1993 as one of the first golf clubs in the post-revolution years. The golf course is located in the area of the reclaimed Velebudice landfill in Most. The place, which was once just a dumping ground for earth from mining activities, gradually transformed into a revitalized and aesthetically transformed landscape. In a short period, a nine-hole course was created, which was standardized in 1999 to offer an alternative to established courses and become a refuge for those seeking interesting golf design.
The Most Golf Course, par 70, is situated in a pleasant and peaceful environment of the reclaimed landscape, which features gently undulating terrain reminiscent of the typical atmosphere of a Scottish links course. The course is located in close proximity to the Hippodrome, adjacent to the entire length of the first hole, and near the natural swimming pool Benedikt. This fact is significant for those who divide their interests between golf and other leisure activities, such as inline skating, walks, family attractions, horse racing, show jumping, horseback riding, tennis, swimming, petanque, and more.
The advantageous location of the Most Golf Course allows for golfing almost all year round.
