The nine-hole course of the Líšnice Golf Club is located about 15 km from Prague on the expressway No. 4 in the direction of Mníšek pod Brdy resp. Příbram.
The golf course in Líšnice is the second oldest in the Czech Republic after the course in Mariánské Lázně. It was founded in 1928.
However, its current appearance is completely different than it was in the first fifty years of its existence, when the individual holes crossed each other. The current form began to take shape in the second half of the 1970s and was completed in the second half of the 1990s. The course was then improved, especially by building an extensive irrigation system.
Staying on the field, in addition to enjoying the game on a quality grass surface, provides beautiful views of the picturesque surroundings both at the beginning of the Brdy Massif on the northwest side and on Povltaví and the more distant Posázaví on the southeast side. The playground itself is surrounded by fields and the construction of new family houses, which has already approached from the south of the playground, is practically invisible from the playground through the greenery.
At the course there is a sufficiently long driving range with free and covered tees.
The dominant feature of the course is the clubhouse from 1933, which provides visitors with a traditional club environment. In the clubhouse, or on the terrace in front of it, there is a pleasant sitting area overlooking the playground.
The course, which is 2474 m long, requires accurate and technically mature play. Most of the holes on the course, which used to have the character of Scottish links, are already lined with trees and shrubs. There are also two water obstacles on the field that take part in the game. The course is not difficult to divide vertically, although slight elevations, which increase its picturesqueness, must be overcome. For this reason, it is also suitable for older players. On the ancient lichen playground, it is also possible to play with classic metal spikes.
