Description

The history of the golf course at Cínovec dates back to 1998 when the first 6 trial (unofficial) holes were created in the area that now comprises holes 5, 6, and 7. Gradually, more land was acquired, and around 2002, the course began to take its current shape. The complete nine holes with a par of 72 were standardized in 2003. A significant change occurred in 2008 when a small water reservoir of approximately 2000 m2 was built in the area of hole 2, along with a comprehensive irrigation system. In 2009 and 2010, the course underwent a complete reconstruction, including the construction of new greens, tees, and the modernization of holes 4, 5, 6, and 7. Additionally, a large putting green was opened near the clubhouse in the spring of 2011.

A major improvement in the quality of services at Cínovec was the opening of the new clubhouse, hotel, and restaurant called "Krušnohorský dvůr" (Erzgebirge Manor). The clubhouse was built on the site of the old demolished clubhouse, just in front of the tee of hole 1. The new facilities include a renowned restaurant with a spacious terrace offering views of the České Středohoří (Czech Central Mountains), a golf shop, hotel accommodations, a children's playground, and a sauna.

With these enhancements, Cínovec offers a top-notch environment for players and visitors, where they can enjoy golfing in a serene atmosphere and spend a pleasant time at the golf resort.
